Congratulations on your new jewelry!

We believe jewelry should be enjoyed and worn as much as possible. Most pieces require very little care. To keep your collection looking its best follow our 5 steps below:

  1. Common Considerations
Jewelry should not be subjected to impacts, contact sports, heavy lifting, gardening, or harsh chemicals (including chlorine, perfume and hairspray). This is especially true of opals, pearls and any item with enamel. *Take care not to drop your jewelry on the ground when taking it on and off!

  2. Bubble Bath
Most pieces of jewelry can be cleaned with a small amount of gentle dish soap in warm water. Soak your item for a few minutes in the water solution then gently brush it with a soft baby toothbrush and rinse. Dry with a paper towel or soft polishing cloth. For an even deeper clean, take your treasures to a professional jeweler for a dip in their ultrasonic cleaner. *Never submerge any item with an enclosed locket, photo, painting, or lock of hair.

  3. Secure Stones
It’s a good idea to regularly run a fingertip over your pieces with stones to feel for any movement. If you suspect any are loose DO NOT wear the jewelry. Take your item to a reputable jeweler and have them make any necessary adjustments to secure it.

  4. Locket Love

Lockets are created to be opened, this can happen when you least expect it, and you may lose what’s inside. Ensure your locket is clasped each time you wear it. Lockets should also never be submerged in water or worn when bathing. If dirty, a gentle wipe with a soft damp cloth should do the trick.

  5. Always Ask!

Not all pieces of jewelry are made that same, nor are they made of the same materials. Consider what is special about your unique item. If you aren’t sure, just ask! We are more than happy to help you make the right choices when it comes to the longevity and wearability of your precious adornments.
