This version of the Shield Ring is centered on a Montana Sapphire unlike anything we have come across. The radiating facet work is the creation of renowned award winning gem cutter Chris Wolfsberg, whose fantasy cut technique transforms the stone into something that defies easy description. The facets fan out from the center like a starburst, catching and refracting light in ways a standard cut never could.
And then there is the color. In some light a smoky purple. In others a clear blue. Sometimes both at once. It shifts as you move, as the light changes, as the day unfolds around you. A stone that refuses to be defined by a single moment.
Framed by a knife edge band in 14k gold, precise and architectural, with pavé diamonds set along one side. The band frames the stone without competing with it.
