Many cultures prescribe symbolism to the bat - for some it’s good luck and to others mystery, darkness and the unknown. There is folklore around bats being messengers of transformation, death and rebirth. They are undeniably fascinating creatures that can instilled both fear and awe.
This ring was designed in collaboration with the stunningly talented nail artist gaudyoctopus. Her sketch/design was the catalyst for this ring, and we brought it to life in jewelry form. Each 14k gold signet features a smokey spinel custom cut for this very project. The wings are individually hand engraved making each a unique work of art.
